Mai 36 Galerie is thrilled to announce its participation in Art Basel Miami Beach 2024, showcasing an exceptional lineup of works that celebrate both innovation and artistic legacy. This year, the gallery is proud to present the first-ever Art Basel exhibition of HR Giger’s iconic Necronom / Alien III sculpture, used as the basis for the design of Ridley Schott's movie "Alien", highlighting Giger’s profound influence on the visual vocabulary of entire generations and pop culture.

In addition to this groundbreaking presentation, Mai 36 Galerie will unveil a striking new 4-meter painting by renowned Cuban artist Michel Pérez Pollo.

The gallery's booth will also feature a highly curated selection of works by influential artists Thomas Ruff, Robert Mapplethorpe, Matt Mullican, and John Baldessari. Adding an emerging twist, we are excited to include an innovative Augmented Reality painting by young British artist Jack Warne, inviting visitors to engage with art in a transformative way as well as works by Leon Xu, Poppy Jones and Kentaro Kawabata.
